POs, dev leads and librarians & app interaction SIG work collectively to approve an acceptable set of requirements and possibly a plan to build and support record deletion in FOLIO. This session will focus on gathering requirements for deleting instance records as this capability has been highly requested by the community.
This session will discuss the following questions a) What do we as a project mean when we talk about mark instance for deletion? b) What do we as a project mean when we talk about 'soft deletion'? c) When doing the actual deletion of instances, have we identified all dependencies by now? d) Will the FOLIO libraries have a unified requirement for deletion of instances, or is this something we need to make customizable?
